On Saturday, June 9th, a dozen Harpoon Helpers joined together to form the Harpoon Helps team for the Alliance for Lupus Research’s 2012 Boston Walk. Nearly $200,000 was raised for the groundbreaking research ALR is doing to find a cure and cause for this devastating autoimmune disease.We were proud to band together to walk the 5k route, which was twice around Castle Island in South Boston. The only member of our team that didn’t quite make it around was Lola, who luckily got a ride with another team member, Hannalore (see below)! Thank you to my colleagues here at Harpoon and our volunteers who came and walked with us. It was a great day!
